Do you have to have a lot to say?”]According to a recent survey*, baby boomers said that their parents’ personal keepsakes, family stories and final instructions are more important to them than the dollars they expect to inherit. The study also indicated that most seniors do not believe their children are interested in their stories. The reality is there are those who will be interested in your family’s history and others who are not. Do you know who your great-grandparents were? Do you remember the stories they told about growing up? Hard to remember isn’t it? It is important to document your story, so that it can be enjoyed for generations to come.

[toggle title=”4. The pricing varies so much and I don’t like surprises. How will I know how much this is going to cost?”]As you can imagine, writing a personal history is a very personal thing and with it comes various options for you to consider. If you are very price sensitive and have the desire to do most of the writing yourself, but need help with the production and editing, the workshop series might be the best option for you. We have an option within that has a cost per page for the production and you can decide how many pages you would like. We have a menu of services with pricing too. If you are anxious to proceed, but are overwhelmed with the task, we can do everything for you, or simply facilitate the process however you desire. A contract will be prepared, with the scope and pricing, so that there are no surprises. If you want to make changes to the contract along the way, that most certainly isn’t a problem, as long as it covers work completed to date.[/toggle]
